ERIC STUCKEY Allegedly Misrepresented Investments

FINRA stock Broker losses

Clients File Disputes About Invest Financial's Eric Stuckey

Clients are coming forward with disputes concerning Eric Stuckey [CRD#: 2445666, Suwanee, Georgia]. Notably, the securities broker, who associated with Invest Financial Corporation from 2009 to 2018, discloses 5 customer disputes about him on Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”) BrokerCheck. Notably, Invest Financial clients indicate in these disputes that Stuckey recommended unreasonable trades and falsified investment information. For more on the allegations against Stuckey, see below.

Eric Stuckey Allegedly Misrepresents Risks Of Invest Financial Client’s Investments

Apparently, a client of Invest Financial contested Eric Stuckey’s actions by filing FINRA Arbitration #: 18-01847 on May 18, 2018. Allegedly, Stuckey falsified or misrepresented features of a variable annuity, and he failed to tell the client about risks. Also, the client suggested that Stuckey recommended bad investments. It seems that variable annuities were not compatible with the client’s investment profile. Because of this, the client demanded compensation from Invest Financial or Stuckey in the amount of $220,000 in this ongoing matter.

Invest Financial Client Suggests Stuckey Made Unsuitable Trades

Evidently, on January 22, 2018, an Invest Financial client voiced an investment dispute concerning Eric Stuckey. Mainly, the client asserted that Stuckey selected risky subaccounts for the client’s variable annuity. Apparently, the risks of these subaccounts conflicted with the client’s risk tolerance and generated losses. As a result, on May 7, 2018, the securities firm resolved this issue through compensating the client in the amount of $25,000.

Eric Stuckey Allegedly Overconcentrates Invest Financial Client’s Account In Risky Energy Investments

Apparently, a client of Invest Financial contested Eric Stuckey’s actions by placing FINRA Arbitration #: 16-01532 on May 31, 2016. Allegedly, Stuckey over concentrated the client’s account in risky energy securities. Not only that, but the broker’s market timing strategy allegedly did not pan out since it caused the client to sustain losses. Therefore, Invest Financial figured to settle the client’s dispute on October 11, 2016 through compensating the client to the tune of $14,750.

Invest Financial Client Indicates Stuckey Sold Unsuitable Investments

Evidently, on December 23, 2015, an Invest Financial client brought a formal dispute in reference to Eric Stuckey. Like other clients, this client contended that Stucky sold investments which were not suitable for the customer. It appears that Stuckey sold a variable annuity containing unnecessary or unreasonable riders to this client. However, Invest Financial denied the client’s allegations.
