Particularly, a Merrill Lynch and UBS Financial Services Inc. client filed FINRA Arbitration No. 18-03444 about Jaime Rullan-Ferrao. Evidently, the client alleged unsuitable advice and misrepresentation. Because of this, the client allegedly incurred damages linked to closed end funds. As a result, on March 3, 2021, Merrill Lynch settled this matter by paying the client $25,000.00 in damages.

Also, a client of Merrill Lynch disputed Jaime Rullan-Ferrao’s sales practices by filing FINRA Arbitration No. 18-03201. Allegedly, Rullan-Ferrao made misrepresentations and unsuitable recommendations. It appears that Rullan-Ferrao caused the client to sustain damages linked to municipal bonds. Consequently, Merrill Lynch opted to settle the matter on May 13, 2020, by compensating the client in the amount of $22,000.00.

Specifically, a Merrill Lynch client filed FINRA Arbitration No. 16-01126 about Jaime Rullan-Ferrao. Mainly, the client claimed that Rullan-Ferrao made omissions, misrepresentations, engaged in unauthorized trading, and gave unsuitable advice about closed end funds. For this reason, on February 13, 2020, Merrill Lynch settled this matter by paying the client $25,717.24 in damages.
