Jordan Rider Linked To LPL Financial Clients’ Disputes About Unsuitable Advice

Investors might have sustained losses due to securities broker Jordan P. Rider [CRD: 5292169, Leawood, Kansas], according to disclosures on Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) BrokerCheck. It appears that Jordan Rider worked for LPL Financial LLC since December 14, 2010, and more recently for The Wealth Consulting Group since July 14, 2023. LPL Financial LLC Investor Accused Rider Of Mismanagement

Specifically, on April 11, 2025, an LPL Financial LLC client filed a complaint about Jordan Rider. Supposedly, Rider made unsuitable recommendations, failed to disclose risks, and mismanaged accounts. Because of this, the client allegedly incurred damages through investing in exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Therefore, the client requested $120,000 in compensation from LPL Financial LLC or Rider. Evidently, this matter is pending a resolution.

V Wealth Management Investor Accused Jordan Rider Of Mismanagement

Particularly, a client filed a complaint about Jordan Rider. Supposedly, Rider made unsuitable recommendations about ETFs, failed to disclose risks, and mismanaged the account. As a result, on May 21, 2018, V Wealth Management settled this matter by paying the client $125,000.00 in damages.

Rider Disclosed Unsuitable Recommendations Allegations By V Wealth Management LLC Client

Also, a client of V Wealth Management LLC contested Jordan Rider’s sales practices, according to a complaint. Allegedly, Rider made unsuitable recommendations and overconcentrated accounts in commodities and energy investments. Because of this, V Wealth Management LLC chose to settle the matter on September 6, 2016, by compensating the client in the amount of $85,000.00.

Additionally, a client filed a complaint about Jordan Rider. Supposedly, Rider made unsuitable recommendations in her retirement accounts. Because of this, the client allegedly incurred damages through investing in mutual funds and stocks. Therefore, on September 18, 2015, V Wealth Management or LPL Financial settled this matter by paying the client $50,000.00 in damages.
