Notably, a client of Raymond James Financial Services Inc. contested Trotta’s sales practices, according to a complaint. Allegedly, Trotta engaged in excessive trading, made unsuitable recommendations, and committed forgery. It appears that Trotta allegedly caused the client to sustain damages connected to annuities. Consequently, Raymond James Financial Services Inc. opted to settle the matter on June 22, 2005, by compensating the client in the amount of $15,037.27.
