Broker Matt Kildis Involved In Disputes Alleging Unsuitable Recommendations, Misrepresentation

Soreide Law Group is reviewing potential investor disputes against securities broker Ahmet Kildis (“Matt Kildis”) (CRD#: 2058173, Hudson, Florida). FINRA BrokerCheck shows that Kildis works for Fifth Third Securities and used to work for SunTrust Securities. Notably, three investors filed disputes about the broker, and SunTrust discharged him for allegedly modifying a client’s signed form.

SunTrust Investment Services Client Alleges Misconduct By Matt Kildis

Evidently, Kildis worked for SunTrust Investment Services from September 2011 to April 2018. Notably, a client of SunTrust disputed Matt Kildis through an August 2020 FINRA Arbitration Claim. It seems that the broker was determined liable for negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of oral agreement, and breach of contract. Because of this, the Arbitrator granted $18,582.45 in damages.

Fifth Third Securities Client Alleges That Kildis Made Unsuitable Recommendation

Reportedly, Matt Kildis worked for Fifth Third Securities before and after his employment with SunTrust Investment Services. BrokerCheck shows that a Fifth Third Securities client disputed Kildis’ sales practices. Specifically, the client claims that Kildis inappropriately recommended for them to distribute money from their retirement account to buy a structured CD. However, Fifth Third Securities denied this unsuitable recommendation allegation and the client’s claim.

Moreover, a second client of Fifth Third Securities had a problem with Kildis’ structured product sales. Allegedly, Kildis misrepresented information in connection with the client’s purchase of structured products. Because of this, the client purportedly sustained damages. However, Fifth Third Securities denied the investor’s dispute.
