Carbray Accused By Kestra Investment Services Client Of Unsuitable Recommendations

Particularly, on March 11, 2026, a Kestra Investment Services client filed FINRA Arbitration No. 26-00557 about Matthew Carbray. Primarily, the client alleged that Carbray made unsuitable recommendations involving alternative investments. Because of this, the client allegedly sustained damages. As a result, the client requested compensation from Kestra Investment Services or Carbray. BrokerCheck shows that this arbitration is awaiting a resolution.

Matthew Carbray Disclosed Kestra Client’s Allegations Of Sales Practice Violations In REITs

Additionally, a client of Kestra Investment Services disputed Carbray’s sales practices, according to a complaint dated October 14, 2024. Allegedly, Carbray made an unsuitable recommendation involving a real estate investment trust. It appears that Carbray allegedly caused the client to sustain damages. Therefore, the client sought compensation from Kestra Investment Services or Carbray in the amount of $25,000 in this matter. The firm denied the complaint on November 4, 2024.
