Michael Rudio Facing LPL Financial Investor Disputes Re: Unsuitable Recommendations

Rudio has worked for Purshe Kaplan Sterling Investments since August 11, 2021, and for Phase Line Capital LLC since July 12, 2021. LPL Financial LLC Investor Accused Rudio Of Breach Of Fiduciary Duty

Evidently, on April 23, 2025, an LPL Financial LLC client filed FINRA Arbitration No. 25-00161 about Michael Rudio. Mainly, the client alleged that Rudio recommended unsuitable investments and breached his fiduciary duty. Consequently, the investor allegedly incurred damages on structured products. Therefore, the client requested damages believed to be over $5,000 in compensation from LPL Financial LLC or Rudio. This arbitration is pending a resolution.

Additionally, a client of LPL Financial LLC contested Michael Rudio’s sales practices by bringing FINRA Arbitration No. 23-03650. Allegedly, Rudio made unsuitable recommendations involving structured products, resulting in damages. As a result, LPL Financial LLC opted to settle the matter on January 20, 2025, by paying $18,500.
