Mainly, FINRA began an investigation into Bedwell after receiving allegations that he forged documents during the time that he was associated with LPL Financial. In connection with the investigation, FINRA sent Bedwell a request for the production of documents on September 14, 2020. While Bedwell did provide some of the requested documents and information, on February 10, 2021, Bedwell indicated that he had received FINRA’s requests but would not provide the outstanding information and documents at any time. As a result, Bedwell violated FINRA Rules 2010 and 8210.
