Robert Hill Terminated By Morgan Stanley For Discretionary Trading

Investors might have sustained losses due to securities broker Robert Hill (also known as Bob Hill) [CRD: 2268971, Westport, Connecticut], according to disclosures on FINRA BrokerCheck. Hill works for Saxony Securities Inc. and Rose Capital Advisors LLC, both in Westport, Connecticut, having joined those firms on June 23, 2025, and July 10, 2025, respectively. Morgan Stanley Disaffiliated With Bob Hill For Unauthorized Trading

Specifically, on May 1, 2025, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC disaffiliated with Hill. Particularly, Morgan Stanley alleged that Hill used discretion with client orders without consent, wrongfully allocated client trades between advisory and brokerage accounts, and placed older investors in structured products.

Sands Brothers Investor Accused Robert Hill Of Unsuitable Trading And Churning

Evidently, a Sands Brothers Co., Ltd. client filed NASD Arbitration No. 00-04722 about Robert Hill. Notably, the client alleged that Hill made unsuitable recommendations, charged excessive commissions, and churned the client’s account. Because of this, the client allegedly sustained damages connected to over-the-counter equities and stocks. So, on January 18, 2001, Sands Brothers Co., Ltd. settled this matter by paying the client $2,500.00 in damages.
