Ronald Bucher Facing Client Unauthorized Trading Complaints

Family Broker Fraud

Soreide Law Group is investigating potential investor claims of sales practice violations possibly committed by securities broker Ronald Luther Bucher [CRD: 1804910, Fort Myers, Florida], according to disclosures on Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) BrokerCheck. Inc. from July 26, 2018, to October 22, 2019. Here’s more about the securities broker’s disclosures.

Pinnacle Investments LLC Investor Accused Bucher Of Breach Of Fiduciary Duty

Particularly, on April 3, 2024, a Pinnacle Investments LLC client filed FINRA Arbitration No. 24-00735 about Ronald Bucher. Supposedly, Bucher breached a contract, breached his fiduciary duty, was negligent, violated the Illinois Securities Act, and made misrepresentations and omissions. Because of this, the client allegedly sustained damages. Therefore, the client requested $2,000,000 in compensation from Pinnacle Investments LLC or Bucher. Evidently, this arbitration is pending a resolution.

Client Complaint Alleged Ronald Bucher Engaged In Unapproved Trading

On August 9, 2023, a client of Pinnacle Investments LLC filed a written complaint about Ronald Bucher. The client alleged that investments were not in line with their stated objective and transactions were unauthorized. Consequently, the client requested damages amounting to $77,772.32. Also, a client of Pinnacle Investments LLC contested Ronald Bucher’s sales practices, according to a complaint dated August 1, 2023. FINRA Barred Bucher For Failure To Comply With Investigation

Particularly, on December 21, 2023, FINRA issued Case: 2022073421201 sanctioning Ronald Bucher.

The matter originated from FINRA’s 2022 examination of Pinnacle Investments and the review of the Form U5 filed by the firm. In the Form U5, Pinnacle Investments explained that it terminated Bucher due to violations of the firm’s policy on text messaging, which led to incomplete records and books, and providing false information on a FINRA request.

FINRA Rule 8210 requires securities brokers to provide information during an investigation. Bucher produced some information but failed to provide all requested client communications. This refusal led to violations of FINRA Rules 8210 and 2010.

As a result, FINRA imposed a bar on Bucher from associating with any FINRA member in any capacity.
