Samuel Barber (Lifemark Securities Corp.) Tied To Client Dispute Concerning Negligence

Investors have reportedly disputed the sales practices of securities broker Samuel E. Barber [CRD: 4750380, Naugatuck, Connecticut], based on public information on Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) BrokerCheck. Evidently, Barber has worked with Lifemark Securities Corp. since May 12, 2017, and was previously registered with MML Investors Services LLC in Norwalk, Connecticut, from August 10, 2009, to April 4, 2017. The client allegedly sustained damages linked to corporate bonds. Consequently, on May 13, 2025, Lifemark Securities Corp. settled this matter by paying the client $43,000 in damages.

Additionally, a client of MML Investors Services LLC contested Samuel Barber’s sales practices, according to a complaint. Allegedly, Barber committed forgery involving a whole life insurance policy. It appears that Barber caused the client to sustain damages. Therefore, MML Investors Services LLC opted to settle the matter on May 15, 2017.

Also, on March 27, 2017, MML Investors Services LLC disaffiliated with Barber. Mainly, MML Investors Services LLC referred to a client complaint about Barber having misrepresented a traditional insurance product to the client.
