Soreide Law Group is currently investigating potential claims on behalf of investors who may have sustained losses through the actions of securities broker Stephen Curtis Lawler Jr. (CRD: 1193477, Peoria, Illinois). Particularly, Lawler faces various allegations of recommending unsuitable investment products, among other claims. Evidently, some of these cases are still pending arbitration.

Investacorp, Inc. Investor Accused Lawler Of Unsuitable Product Recommendations

Specifically, on July 7, 2023, an Investacorp, Inc. client filed FINRA Arbitration: 23-01920 concerning Stephen Lawler. Specifically, the client alleged that Lawler recommended unsuitable alternative products and failed to provide complete disclosures. This incident supposedly led to damages on DPPs and LPs and real estate securities. Evidently, this arbitration is still pending a resolution.

Particularly, a client of First Allied Securities, Inc. filed FINRA Arbitration: 21-00021 on December 14, 2021. Moreover, the client reportedly sustained damages on other REITs amounting to $100,000.01. It appears that this arbitration is still pending.

Investacorp, Inc. Investor Accused Lawler Of Breach Of Fiduciary Duty

Namely, a client of Investacorp, Inc. filed FINRA Arbitration: 21-01576 about Stephen Lawler on June 22, 2021. On May 3, 2023, Investacorp settled the matter by compensating the client $425,000.

Stephen Lawler Disclosed Allegations By First Allied Securities, Inc. Client

Also, a First Allied Securities, Inc. client contested Stephen Lawler’s investment advice through FINRA Arbitration: 21-00021, filed on January 28, 2021. Allegedly, Lawler recommended unsuitable REITs. While no specific damages were stated, the claim was dismissed on January 6, 2022, without any settlement or contribution from either Lawler or First Allied Securities, Inc.
