Evidently, Metzler worked for Capital Growth Resources from 2007 to 2008 and has since been employed by Centaurus Financial Inc. in Newport Beach, California since November 1, 2011, and by Newport Wealth Advisors Inc. since January 9, 2018. Therefore, Centaurus Financial Inc. opted to settle the matter on December 28, 2023, by compensating the client in the amount of $67,025.41.

Particularly, a client filed a complaint about Surya Metzler. The client alleged that Metzler made unsuitable recommendations. Because of this, the client allegedly sustained damages on promissory notes and stocks. As a result, on February 15, 2015, Capital Growth Resources settled this matter by paying the client $10,000 in damages.

Centaurus Financial Inc. Investor Accused Metzler Of Recommending Risky Investments

Also, on June 21, 2012, an Ameriprise Financial Services Inc. client filed a complaint about Surya Metzler. The client alleged that Metzler recommended risky real estate securities, resulting in damages. Therefore, the client requested $86,366.17 in compensation from Ameriprise Financial Services Inc. or Metzler. However, the firm denied this complaint.

Surya Metzler Disclosed Forgery Allegations By Ameriprise Financial Services Inc. Client

Specifically, a client of Ameriprise Financial Services Inc. contested Surya Metzler’s sales practices, according to a complaint dated March 1, 2011. Allegedly, Metzler committed forgery. Supposedly Metzler caused the client to sustain damages on variable annuities. Consequently, the client sought damages from Ameriprise Financial Services Inc. or Metzler in the amount of $5,943.09 in this matter. The firm denied this complaint.
