Vasilios Takos Connected To Aegis Capital Client Arbitration About Unsuitable Recommendations

Evidently, on January 29, 2011, a National Securities client filed a complaint about Vasilios Takos. Allegedly, Takos charged excessive commissions on over-the-counter equities and stocks. Therefore, the client requested compensation from National Securities or Takos. The complaint was closed with no action on February 4, 2011.

Continental Broker-Dealer Investor Accused Bill Takos Of Churning, Mismanagement

Also, a Continental Broker-Dealer client filed FINRA Arbitration No. 97-05531 about Vasilios Takos. Evidently, the client claimed that Takos churned accounts, made misrepresentations, and mismanaged investment accounts. Because of this, the client allegedly sustained damages linked to stocks. As a result, on October 15, 1999, Continental Broker-Dealer settled this matter by paying the client $200,000 in damages.

Vasilios Takos Disclosed Unauthorized Trading, Breach Of Fiduciary Duty Allegations By Continental Broker-Dealer Client

Additionally, a client of Continental Broker-Dealer contested Vasilios Takos’s sales practices by filing FINRA Arbitration No. 97-00265. Allegedly, Takos engaged in unauthorized trading, breached a contract, breached his fiduciary duty, and churned accounts. For this reason, Continental Broker-Dealer opted to settle the matter on April 8, 1998, by paying compensation totaling $150,000.
