Alvaro Jiron Involved In Infinex Investments Inc. Investor Arbitration Claim About Misrepresentation

Investors have reportedly disputed the sales practices of securities broker Alvaro Mauricio Jiron [CRD: 4226147, Coral Gables, Florida], according to publicly available information found on Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) BrokerCheck. Jiron worked for Infinex Investments Inc. from July 5, 2016, to February 20, 2023, before joining LPL Financial LLC on February 24, 2023, where he remains registered. Infinex Investments Investor Accused Jiron Of Misrepresentation

Particularly, an Infinex Investments Inc. client filed FINRA Arbitration No. 25-01641 about Alvaro Jiron. Primarily, the client alleged that Jiron made misrepresentations by describing an offshore annuity as safe and secure. Because of this, the client allegedly incurred damages pertaining to offshore annuities. As a result, on September 26, 2025, Infinex Investments Inc. settled this matter by paying the client $200,000 in damages.

Alvaro Jiron Disclosed Omissions Allegations By Infinex Investments Client

Specifically, a client of Infinex Investments Inc. contested Jiron’s sales practices, according to a complaint dated August 31, 2023. Allegedly, Jiron made omissions by not informing the client that a mutual fund could only be tendered quarterly. It appears that Jiron allegedly caused the client to sustain damages relating to mutual funds. Therefore, the client sought compensation from Infinex Investments Inc. or Jiron in the amount of $125,350.79 in this matter. However, the firm denied this complaint.
