Broker Brian Jackson (David Lerner Associates) Faces Investor Disputes

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) reports investor dispute information on BrokerCheck regarding securities broker Brian Michael Jackson (CRD#: 4733834, White Plains, New York). Evidently, Jackson worked for securities firm David Lerner Associates from 2004 to 2018 and became a Wells Fargo securities broker and financial advisor in 2018. Two David Lerner Associates investors brought disputes alleging that Jackson engaged in sales practice violations.

Brian Jackson’s David Lerner Associates Client Alleges Unsuitable Real Estate Security Transactions

Evidently, a client of David Lerner Associates brought a dispute about Brian Jackson’s sales practices. The July 2020 FINRA Arbitration Claim alleges unsuitable mutual fund transactions and unsuitable real estate security transactions. Basically, suitability concerns information about an investor’s risk tolerance, investment objectives, financial needs, and more. In this case, the client asks for $101,000 in compensation to resolve this ongoing matter.

Client Alleges Jackson Moved Assets Without Consent At David Lerner Associates

Also, a client of David Lerner Associates complained about Brian Jackson moving the client into a product without their consent. The February 2016 dispute alleges that the movement occurred at maturity, where funds were placed into a product without authorization. However, David Lerner Associates denied this dispute. Jackson denies the client’s allegations against him.
