Fera Shivaee Facing Centaurus Financial Investor’s Unsuitable Recommendations Allegations

Primarily, the client alleged that Shivaee made unsuitable recommendations in risky investments between 2020 and 2024. Consequently, the investor allegedly incurred damages linked to variable annuities, corporate bonds, and real estate securities. For this reason, the client requested $500,000.00 in compensation from Centaurus Financial Inc. or Shivaee. This arbitration is pending a resolution.

Fera Shivaee Disclosed Breach Of Fiduciary Duty Allegations By Centaurus Financial Client

Particularly, a client of Centaurus Financial Inc. contested Fera Shivaee’s sales practices by bringing FINRA Arbitration No. 23-02116. Allegedly, Shivaee recommended unsuitable investments and breached her fiduciary duty relating to corporate bonds. Therefore, Centaurus Financial Inc. agreed to settle the matter on September 13, 2024, by paying $39,500.00.

Also, a Centaurus Financial Inc. client filed FINRA Arbitration No. 13-02924 about Fera Shivaee. The client alleged that Shivaee made unsuitable recommendations, breached her fiduciary duty, was negligent, made misrepresentations and omissions, and violated FINRA rules regarding real estate investment trusts (REITs). As a result, on May 26, 2015, a FINRA Arbitration Panel issued an Award ordering Centaurus Financial Inc. and Shivaee to pay the client $405,778.00 in compensatory damages.
