Investors potentially incurred losses because of securities broker Jeffrey Michael Warren (also known as Jeff Warren) [CRD: 5616071, Antioch, California], according to publicly available information found on Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) BrokerCheck. Warren worked for Crown Capital Securities L.P. from February 7, 2013, to February 14, 2024, and has been registered with Vanderbilt Securities LLC since February 9, 2024, while also maintaining a registration with Secure Retirement Financial Insurance Services Corp. since June 4, 2013. Crown Capital Securities Investor Accused Jeff Warren Of Unsuitable Recommendations, Misrepresentation

Notably, on July 31, 2025, a Crown Capital Securities L.P. client filed FINRA Arbitration No. 25-01575 about Jeffrey Warren. Primarily, the client alleged that Warren made unsuitable recommendations by placing a large portion of retirement assets into illiquid investments, including non-traded real estate investment trusts (non-traded REITs) and private placements, which were described as safe despite limited transparency and high commissions. The client also raised concerns about misrepresentation and alleged trading activity involving options that contributed to losses. Because of this, the client allegedly incurred damages connected to non-traded REITs and private placement investments. As a result, the client requested between $100,000 and $500,000 in compensation from Crown Capital Securities L.P. or Warren. BrokerCheck shows that this arbitration is ongoing.

Jeffrey Warren Disclosed Breach Of Fiduciary Duty Allegations By Crown Capital Securities L.P. Client

Additionally, a client of Crown Capital Securities L.P. disputed Warren’s sales practices by filing FINRA Arbitration No. 20-03610. Allegedly, Warren made unsuitable recommendations, failed to perform due diligence, and breached his fiduciary duty. It appears that Warren allegedly caused the client to suffer damages associated with non-traded REITs and business development company (BDC) investments. Therefore, Crown Capital Securities L.P. opted to settle the matter on April 12, 2021, by compensating the client in the amount of $37,500.
