Investors apparently complained about securities broker Kevin Clinton Loyd Jr [CRD: 4447419, Town and Country, Missouri], based on publicly available information on Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) BrokerCheck. It appears that Loyd worked for First Allied Securities Inc. from December 16, 2013, to September 8, 2022; Cetera Advisors LLC from September 8, 2022, to June 22, 2023; Cetera Investment Advisers LLC from November 12, 2020, to June 22, 2023; and LPL Financial LLC beginning June 20, 2023. Cetera Advisors LLC Investor Accused Loyd Of Unsuitable Recommendations

Specifically, on November 16, 2023, a Cetera Advisors LLC client filed a complaint about Kevin Loyd. Primarily, the client alleged that Loyd made unsuitable recommendations. For this reason, the client allegedly experienced damages associated with direct investments. Consequently, the client requested $17,500 in compensation from Cetera Advisors LLC or Loyd.

Kevin Loyd Disclosed Misrepresentation, Breach Of Contract Allegations By First Allied Securities Inc Client

Also, a client of First Allied Securities Inc. disputed Kevin Loyd’s sales practices by filing FINRA Arbitration No. 23-02297. Allegedly, Loyd made unsuitable recommendations, breached a contract, and made misrepresentations. It appears that Loyd allegedly caused the investor to sustain damages connected to real estate securities. As a result, First Allied Securities Inc. opted to settle the matter on July 8, 2025, by compensating the client in the amount of $67,500.
