Obraitis worked for Cambridge Investment Research Inc. and Cambridge Investment Research Advisors Inc. from February 21, 2014, to April 17, 2025, and has been registered with Summit Financial LLC since April 15, 2025, and Purshe Kaplan Sterling Investments since April 16, 2025. Evidently, a client of Cambridge Investment Research Inc. disputed Robert Obraitis’s sales practices, according to a complaint dated December 2, 2025. Allegedly, Obraitis the broker made unsuitable recommendations and made misrepresentations. It appears that Obraitis allegedly caused the client to sustain damages related to variable annuities. As a result, the client sought compensation from Cambridge Investment Research Inc. or Obraitis in the amount of $900,000 in this matter. However, the firm denied this complaint.

Cambridge Investor Accused Robert Obraitis Of Unauthorized Transactions

Particularly, on September 5, 2025, a Cambridge Investment Research Inc. client filed a complaint about Robert Obraitis. Mainly, the client alleged that Obraitis the broker made unsuitable recommendations and executed an unauthorized transaction. For this reason, the client allegedly incurred damages connected to variable annuities. Therefore, the client requested $175,567.97 in compensation from Cambridge Investment Research Inc. or Obraitis. However, the firm denied this complaint.

Cambridge Investment Research Inc. Investor Accused Obraitis Of Mismanagement

Also, on November 4, 2024, a Cambridge Investment Research Inc. client filed a complaint about Robert Obraitis. Primarily, the client alleged that Obraitis mismanaged the client’s IRA accounts. Because of this, the client allegedly incurred damages linked to mutual funds. Consequently, the client requested $100,000 in compensation from Cambridge Investment Research Inc. or Obraitis. However, the firm denied this complaint.

Robert Obraitis Disclosed Negligence, Breach Of Contract Allegations By F.N. Wolf Client

Additionally, a client of F.N. Wolf contested Obraitis’s sales practices by filing NASD Arbitration No. 94-02078. Allegedly, Obraitis made misrepresentations, engaged in unsuitable recommendations, made omissions, was negligent, breached a contract, and violated NASD rules. It appears that Obraitis allegedly caused the client to sustain damages connected to stocks. As a result, NASD Arbitrators issued an Award dated May 30, 1997 compelling Obraitis to compensate the client in the amount of $19,280.
