Price Disclosed Unauthorized Trading Allegations By Equitable Advisors Client

Specifically, a client of Equitable Advisors LLC contested Price’s sales practices, according to a complaint dated September 3, 2025. Allegedly, Price engaged in unauthorized trading by effecting mutual fund transactions without the client’s knowledge or consent. It appears that Price allegedly caused the client to sustain damages pertaining to mutual funds. Consequently, the client sought compensation from Equitable Advisors LLC or Price in this matter. This complaint was ultimately denied on October 1, 2025.

Equitable Advisors Investor Accused Cynthia Price Of Unsuitable Recommendations, Omissions

Also, a client filed a complaint about Cynthia Price. Primarily, the client alleged that Price made unsuitable recommendations and did not disclose fees related to variable annuities purchased in 2025. Because of this, the client allegedly incurred damages linked to variable annuities. As a result, on May 29, 2025, Equitable Advisors LLC settled this matter by paying the client $5,665.92 in damages.
