Therefore, to settle the matter, Arkadios Capital paid $82,500 and Triad paid $90,000.

Particularly, on May 2, 2012, a Triad Advisors client filed a complaint about Jeffrey Shaver. Mainly, the client alleged that Shaver made unsuitable recommendations of illiquid products. Therefore, the client requested $20,000 in compensation from Arkadios Capital or Shaver. However, the securities firm denied this dispute.

Also, a client of AG Edwards Sons Inc. contested Jeffrey Shaver’s sales practices, according to a complaint. Allegedly, Shaver advised on high-risk equities for IRAs. It appears that Shaver caused the client to sustain damages. For this reason, AG Edwards Sons Inc. opted to settle the matter on January 10, 2006, by compensating the client in the amount of $7,470.26.

Additionally, an AG Edwards Sons Inc. client filed NASD Arbitration No. 03-02603 about Jeffrey Shaver. Supposedly, Shaver breached his duty and made unsuitable recommendations. As a result, on September 10, 2004, an NASD Arbitration Panel issued an Award ordering Shaver to pay the client $2,749 in damages.
