Joel Woods worked for LPL Financial LLC from March 26, 2021 to December 16, 2024; Concorde Investment Services LLC from November 23, 2016 to March 26, 2021; and EDI Financial Inc. from March 11, 2005 to December 31, 2016—a firm that was expelled by FINRA on June 1, 2017. Consequently, Concorde Investment Services LLC opted to settle the matter on October 28, 2022, by compensating the client in the amount of $27,600.00.

In addition, an EDI Financial client filed FINRA Arbitration No. 12-01329 about Joel Woods. Allegedly, Woods made unsuitable recommendations. As a result, the client allegedly sustained damages connected to direct investments. Therefore, on April 3, 2013, EDI Financial settled this matter by paying the client $155,000.00 in damages.

Additionally, on January 30, 2012, an EDI Financial Inc. client filed a complaint about Joel Woods. Mainly, the investor alleged that Woods made false or misleading statements regarding fixed annuities. Consequently, the client requested $400,000.00 in compensation from EDI Financial Inc. or Woods.
