Maria Valido Involved In Infinex Investments Inc. Investor Arbitration Claim About Unsuitable Advice

Evidently, an Infinex Investments Inc. client filed FINRA Arbitration No. 24-00817 about Maria Valido. Primarily, the client alleged that Valido made unsuitable recommendations, specifically involving investments that did not align with the client’s goal of principal preservation and safety. For this reason, the client allegedly incurred damages pertaining to variable annuities, fixed annuities, and offshore annuities. Allegedly, Valido made misrepresentations, engaged in misleading conduct under Florida law, and acted with negligence in handling the client’s investments. It appears that Valido allegedly caused the client to sustain damages relating to fixed annuities. As a result, Infinex Investments Inc. opted to settle the matter on December 20, 2022, by compensating the client in the amount of $30,000.
