Neal Hayias Faced Equitable Advisors Investor Complaint About Unsuitable Advice

Investors potentially incurred losses because of securities broker Neal Edward Hayias [CRD: 854703, Melville, New York], according to publicly available information on Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) BrokerCheck. It appears that Hayias has worked for Equitable Advisors LLC since June 1, 2005, in a broker capacity and since August 29, 2008, as an investment adviser representative. Equitable Advisors Client Accused Hayias Of Unsuitable Recommendations

Particularly, a FINRA Arbitration No. 24-01252 was filed by an Equitable Advisors client about Neal Hayias. Mainly, the client alleged that Hayias made unsuitable recommendations. For this reason, the client allegedly experienced damages relating to REITs. Consequently, on October 7, 2025, Equitable Advisors settled this matter by paying the client $15,000 in damages.

AXA Advisors Client Accused Neal Hayias Of Misrepresentation

Also, a FINRA Arbitration No. 21-00968 was filed by an AXA Advisors client about Neal Hayias. Primarily, the client alleged that Hayias made misrepresentations and made unsuitable recommendations concerning BDCs and REITs. Because of this, the client allegedly incurred damages. As a result, on April 11, 2023, AXA Advisors settled this matter by paying the client $28,000 in damages.
