Panjvani Disclosed Failure To Follow Instructions Allegations By Stifel Client

Evidently, a client of Stifel contested Virginia Panjvani’s sales practices, according to a complaint dated February 26, 2025. Allegedly, Panjvani failed to follow instructions to liquidate the client’s assets in 2025. Panjvani allegedly caused the client to sustain damages on mutual funds, exchange traded funds, and stocks. Therefore, the client sought compensation from Stifel or Panjvani in the amount of $84,522.88 in this matter.

Also, a client of UBS contested Virginia Panjvani’s sales practices, based on a complaint. Allegedly, Panjvani caused the client to sustain damages on unsuitable auction rate securities. As a result, UBS opted to settle the matter on December 23, 2008, by compensating the client in the amount of $750,000.00.
